The restaurant has a magnificent environment and a variety of murals are decorated on the walls. The traditional British fish and chips have become fish mud and potato chips under the innovation of the French chef, which is novel and surprising. The best dishes are lamb chops, and the lamb chops made using low-temperature cooking technology are very tender and beautiful. The service is very intimate. The overall price is very high, it is a good restaurant worth visiting.

The food and tea were amazing. Our venison and sirloin were perfectly cooked. The sides, broccoli and spinach, were tasty with a great amount. The staff were all friendly and Denis made our birthday dinner unforgettable.

Hi,I had a mixed experience at The Lanesborough Grill. I made a call purposely to combine my booking with my other 2 friends who will be there on the day. The reception promised to put us 4 together while using the yum points.When we made the booking with the Fork, it stated clearly that I was allowed to use my yum points so I made my reservation with that. Also there were lots of menus also clearly indicating that they were/are on permanent with&nbsp;the Fork.We had a lovely afternoon but it was very embarrassing&nbsp;when it came to the bill as we were then told the lunch menu&nbsp;disallowed the usage of yum points, i.e. no discounts of &pound;50. While we were trying to find out what was going on, the manager came round to give us the final explanation while our guests were wondering what was going on! This is quite unacceptable as we weren&#39;t getting what we were promised. We in the end paid around &pound;360 for the 4 of us, not a cheap afternoon.Please can someone advise urgently and my yum points are still not deducted.Best regardsKenny

Because the restaurant was listed on Michelin Guide (although not a starred restaurant but I still take their suggestions seriously) I anticipated a creative &lsquo;Modern British&rsquo; style meal. It was fine. The side kale Caesar salad was quite ordinary. The steak was very good although nothing extraordinary. I was also a bit dismayed by the emaciated wine pour. One nice touch was they brought me three complementary dessert bites which were great. The waitstaff were professional and efficient. If one is staying at the hotel and doesn&rsquo;t wish to go out this is a fine option. But not a destination.

Lively environment for a low key birthday celebration very serene and beautiful with discrete but friendly and helpful service

Very nice venison main course, produce of a high standard. Staff really attentive and professional. We had an early dinner on a Saturday evening, it was quite quiet initially but got busier as later on.Lovely hotel, dining room somehow slightly lacking in ambience though.
